Facebook Twitter Facebook - White Ribbon Day

Donor Highlight

JDI is honored to have the support of three national companies who have made a commitment to helping end violence against women. These Corporate Partners step up to the plate with more than financial support. They engage their workforce to creatively address the needs of survivors and enhance the services of programs.  Please join us in thanking them for their generosity and leadership.

  • The Allstate Foundation awarded JDI a grant to establish a focus on economic advocacy. Using the Financial Empowerment Curriculum developed by Allstate and the National Network to End Domestic Violence, JDI is training advocates to help survivors prepare for the future by helping them better understand and manage their personal finances.
  • Verizon demonstrated its commitment throughout the year with grants, outreach, and educational activities. Over the years, Verizon employees have participated in White Ribbon Day; the company has supported our advocacy efforts and and technology needs; and they partnered with JDI to host a screening of "Telling Amy's Story" at WGBH.

"I know and see the difference JDI is making every day across the state. I know that my volunteer time and our corporate contributions are an investment that is well spent and bringing benefit statewide." ~ Stephanie Lee, JDI board member and Regional Director of Public Affairs, Verizon03-04-2014

Corporate Partners and Relations

JDI’s Corporate Programs offer unique opportunities for companies to advance their philanthropic objectives while meeting other corporate goals. These might include corporate values or product/industry alignment with social justice, community safety, and technology, healthy masculinity, ending sexual or domestic violence, health, housing, legal, and many other issues. Some companies may seek to establish workplace violence prevention programs or improve workforce safety and protections for victims of sexual and domestic violence. As a corporate donor, you can expect to work closely with us to provide your company a customized package of benefits tailored to your workforce and human resources departments as well as advertising and marketing needs.

CORPORATE PARTNER HIGHLIGHT:

JDI is proud to call Mintz Levin our law firm partner.  For over twenty years, Mintz has collaborated with JDI and our members to support survivors. Beyond their financial support, Mintz has provided essential pro-bono legal representation and advice on matters ranging from confidentiality of records to human resources. Their attorneys have offered expertise in developing public policy responses in the legislative and regulatory arenas. Most recently, a team of pro bono lawyers from Mintz Levin worked with JDI, Victim Rights Law Center, and BARCC, for several years to pass Massachusetts legislation that allows sexual assault, stalking, and harassment victims to obtain criminally enforceable protective orders, filling a gap in the existing statute.

Today, it is our honor to acknowledge their tremendous generosity and wide array of support by naming them as of the first law firm sponsor of JDI's new website.
