Get Involved
On February
14th men will be invited to take the pledge, wear the ribbon and make
a contribution, a few meaningful, simple actions. You can sign up through
this website and add your name to the growing list of supporters. You
can participate in local events hosted by our White
Ribbon Day Affiliates (Jane Doe Inc. members and our allies) on February
14th and throughout the year.
Those who join
the campaign will not only find association among like-minded men but
also gain access to training to develop and support proven community projects,
resources to be allies and role models, and the opportunity to assist
in supporting and funding survivor services statewide in Massachusetts.
Whether you
are an individual, an organization, a school, a congregation, a sports
team or a company, there are many ways for to get involved in this historic
and critical effort.
WRD
Ambassadors
Ambassadors
are men who have taken the White Ribbon Pledge and join the campaign to
serve as an example to others. Ambassadors agree to wear the White Ribbon
on February 14, 2008; recruit 5 or more friends and colleagues to wear
the ribbon on that day; give permission for name to be published on print
and web materials.

WRD
Donors and Sponsors
Jane Doe Inc.
welcomes financial support from individuals, organizations, corporations
and foundations to support its work, including the White Ribbon Day Campaign.
A WRD Sponsor is a business, organization or individual that has joined
the campaign by making either a financial or in-kind contribution. Various
sponsorship opportunities are available, and support will be recognized
on campaign materials and at public events. JDI will work with sponsors
who are interesting in finding other ways for employees to get involved
with campaign.

Affiliates
A
WRD Affiliate is an organization, group or corporation based in Massachusetts
that signs the White Ribbon Day Pledge and agrees to conduct a men and/or
boys pledge event, under the White Ribbon Campaign name or other name
of your choice, during the 2008 calendar year.

Advisory Council
The WRD Advisory
Council is comprised of men who provide counsel and volunteer to achieve
outreach, education and fundraising goals of JDI’s Massachusetts
White Ribbon Day Campaign.
Men’s Engagement Working Group
The Men’s
Engagement Working Group is comprised of JDI member organizations and
WRD Affiliates who volunteer with JDI to encourage participation in WRD
2008 and year-round local men’s engagement activity and to provide
training and resources to WRD Affiliates.
