Each October, Jane Doe Inc. joins our allies across the country in raising awareness and working to prevent Domestic Violence.

• How you can help:
1. Talk about it.

2. If you are concerned for yourself or someone you care about, connecting with domestic violence services. They can help prevent domestic violence homicides and keep victims and their family safe.

* Call SafeLink at 1-877-785-2020 to talk about options and support that’s right for you or someone you care about.

JDI, its member agencies and allies acros Massachusetts have planned a full calendar to mark Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Between October 1, 2008 and September 30, 2009, 15 women, 5 men and 3 children have been killed in cases of domestic violence homicides.
