3rd Annual Walk for Change - April 6, 2008

Join the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center for the 3rd Annual Walk for Change! on April 6th, 2008. Walk for a friend, for someone in your family, for yourself, for all who are affected by sexual violence. First Lady Diane Patrick will be leading the way as the first walker! The route starts/finishes at Canal Park next to CambridgeSideGalleria, and is a 5K loop along the Boston and Cambridge sides of the Charles. Registration begins at 10:00 am and walking starts at 11:00 am. Finish line festivities include music, local dance performances, raffles, and fun family activities.

Registration is $20 to walk as an individual; $10 to walk as a member of a team (minimum 4 people per team); $5 additional for walking your dog (or any animal, as long as it’s on a leash). South Station Clothesline Display - April 8, 2008

An extraordinary and powerful exhibit - BARCC's largest annual display of the Clothesline Project. The Clothesline Project is a nationwide project of T-shirts created by survivors of rape and sexual assault. Counselors will be onsite. Clothesline pins and springtime lavender products will also be for sale to benefit BARCC's free services.
