Help a Friend in Need:

Domestic violence and sexual assault will only stop when each and everyone of us decides to take action. Speaking up and reaching out will let your friends, family members and co-workers know they are not alone, and will let abusers know that violence is unacceptable.

If you know someone who has been or is currently a victim of violence, encourage them to seek help. Do not blame them for the problem or embarrass them into thinking that it´s their fault. That just pushes the problem further underground and leaves the person at continued risk. If you would like to talk with someone about how you can help, please call SafeLink at 1-877-785-2020 or the domestic violence or sexual assault program in your area.

No one deserves to be abused. You can find help and support for yourself. Remember that you are the expert about your own life. Don't let anyone talk you into doing something that's not right for you.
