DESCRIPTION:Our first event is open to anyone interested in attending and will be held at Younity in Gloucester on April 7th. The evening will include a march as well as musical and spoken word performances by survivors and other members of the community. We are also currently looking for people who are willing to anonymously share a sentence about their experiences with sexual assault\, to be read aloud by community members during our Speak Out. The Delaware Alliance Against Sexual Violence will co-host with Every Woman Treaty\, a virtual meeting for the purpose of introduction to Every Woman Treaty Co-Founders\, Dr. Marina Pisklakova-Parker\, Director of Strategic Partnerships and The Honorable Najla Ayoubi\, Chief of Coalition and Global Program. Additional agenda items will\ninclude professional development training opportunities provided by Every Woman Treaty as well as continued discussion on hopeful alignment of language within the treaty to assure U.S.organizations that wish to support the treaty are in agreement. Participants will have to register for the April 21st meeting. The registration link will\nbe available the week of April 11\, 2022.

DESCRIPTION:Despite the potential lifetime impacts\, economic abuse has been long overlooked among teen dating partnerships. Knowing what is at stake\, Futures Without Violence in partnership with The Allstate Foundation and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center surveyed nearly 3\,000 teens to explore how economic abuse – from disrupting education to interfering with employment to financial control – shows up in their relationships. The findings are eye opening.
