Please join us for an upcoming virtual discussion co-sponsored by HAWC, The Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts, and The Essex County Commission on the Status of Women on Nov. 4 via Zoom. Our panelists will discuss three bills: “Protected At Work,” Common Start,” and “Safe Communities,” and how they would have a positive impact on survivors of domestic abuse seeking to increase their financial independence and safety. Together, we have the ability to move beyond band-aids and crisis intervention. Join us to learn how these pending bills can truly empower survivors to rebuild their lives.
