A catalyst for change
The staff and board of JDI engage with our statewide membership and allies statewide and on the national level to solve complex individual and community problems and to advance safety, healing and justice for survivors. At the forefront of this work is our commitment to addressing the experiences of those who have historically been unserved, underserved, and inadequately served.
Our state Coalition is made up of nearly 60 sexual and domestic violence organizations form a statewide network of services and a dynamic force for change.
Their vision of unity includes shared values that are reflected in their work as well as ours. As leaders in their communities, these organizations strive daily to ensure victim-centered, trauma-informed responses, education and prevention efforts are available, accessible, and effective.
Partners & Allies
JDI works with corporate partners as well as state and national organizations who share our commitment to improve responses for victims, to increase accountability, and to shift the culture that fosters and perpetuates violence in the first place.
The JDI Board of Directors is comprised of staff from Coalition member programs along with community members from the private, civic, and corporate arenas. In addition to their governance responsibilities, Board Members serve as ambassadors of JDI and help propel the strength and success of the Coalition.
